There are two ways to donate your organs when you die

Donation organs sticker on the health insurance card (RAMQ)

The first one is to sign the donation organs sticker and put it behind your health insurance card (RAMQ). It is really important to talk about your decision with your family

Is it possible to obtain this sticker when you make the renewal of your health insurance card. It is also available at any Québec hospital, the CLSC or you can ask to our foundation by e-mail or by providing us your complete address and how many sticker you want. It is also possible to ask online at the following web addresses:

''Registre de consentement'' by a notary

"Making a will or a mandate in anticipation of incapacity is a perfect opportunity to consider organ and tissue donation.
If you consent to donate your organs and tissues after discussing the matter freely with your notary, he or she will record your consent in your
will or mandate. It will then also be recorded in a register designed for this purpose by the Chambre des notaires du Québec.
Through this confidential register, authorized personnel will be able to check at the appropriate time whether a person has agreed to donate organs and tissue.''
